The main cabin has two queen bedrooms, twin and full-size sofa beds that can sleep up to six people. The treehouse sleeps a further two guests. There’s a full bathroom with a shower in the main cabin and a half bath in the treehouse.

The huge decking area is a wonderful space for groups to hang out by the lake, with several seating options, a fire pit, and a diving board on the dock. Without Wi-Fi, you can connect with the amazing nature views and just be present.

Inside, a full kitchen and dining table can be used to cook and dine whilst peering out of the well-windowed walls to the water. A big woodburning stove invites cozy nights with board games. The treehouse also has a smaller deck with fabulous views onto the lake from above.

Enjoy the sounds of the babbling Hansel Creek while you’re up in the trees. 

Four people can stay at the Gust Tree House in a King loft bedroom, air mattress, and sleep sofa downstairs. The timber-frame craftsmanship and custom log details are unique design points.

The ambient living room has a woodburning stove for cozying up to on evenings and you can sit out on the deck for a serene morning coffee. If you like to cook (or make s’mores), there is propane outside BBQ, fridge, and propane firepit. 

Shared indoor shower facilities can be found 100 feet from the treehouse. The seasonal outdoor shower runs from May through September.

Bring walking boots and mountain bikes to explore the property’s 150 acres of private land, including a family-owned Mineshaft, hand-built in the early 1900s.
